According to the statement released by Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat on Tuesday, Uttrakhand’s Degree Colleges will be getting 1800 new professors and other staff by February End. He also announced that the govt. is planning on signing MoUs with 25 other universities for providing free coaching to deserving students.
He announced a few other things including facilitating deserving teachers, 180 days attendance compulsory for a better academic session.
“Patriotism is very important for students and this is why we have made hoisting of the national flag and singing the national anthem at colleges and schools mandatory,” he said.
He also announced their decision to make this year the ’employment year’ where 1800 vacant seats of professors, Assistant Professor, Librarians, Lab Technicians, and Computer teachers will be recruited.
