Today, on October 5, 2020 JEE Advanced 2020 result has been declared by the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Delhi. At jeeadv.ac.in, the official site of JEE Advanced the IIT JEE result is available. Along with the result, the final answer key has also been released. Vaibhav Gupta from Delhi has secured AIR 3 and topped JEE Advanced 2020 .

This year, for JEE Advanced 2020 examination around 1,50,838 candidates appeared  out of which the number of candidates who have qualified the examination is 43,204. Out of the total number of qualified candidates, 6707 candidates are female. By securing 352 marks out of 396 marks, Chirag Falor of IIT Bombay zone has topped the exam. With Common Rank List (CRL) 17, Kanishka Mittal of IIT Roorkee zone is the top-ranked female . Out of 396, she obtained 315 marks.

The aggregate marks is calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry which is the criteria for inclusion in a rank list. To have their names in the rank list, candidates will have to satisfy the subject-wise as well as the aggregate qualifying marks. On the basis of aggregate marks, the rank lists are prepared. The candidates appearing in both Paper 1 as well as Paper 2 will be considered for the ranking.

For their JEE Advanced 2020 Result, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Education Minister  has congratulated students . For successfully conducting the examination the Education Minister also congratulated IIT Delhi.

At various centers spread across the country, on September 27, 2020, JEE Advanced 2020 examination was conducted. In 222 cities and 1001 centers in various parts of the country in two slots – from 9 am to 12 noon and between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm the examination was held. For admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs from tomorrow – October 6, 2020, at 10 am JoSAA Counselling 2020 would begin.
