India’s Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu said on Wednesday that the education system in India should enhance the academic-industry relationship among students for providing them practical exposure.

Addressing an event at Vel Tech University, he sought academia, government, and the industry to come together to review the education system and make the necessary changes for high school graduates to get employed.

Naidu also visited the Nidhi-CoE Lab at the university and shared that in order to enhance job creation, business incubation emerged out to be an important tool for economic development.

He emphasized on innovation, incubation, and start-ups being the important words and countries that are knowledge and technology-oriented will contribute highly to the global economy.

Naidu said that India should promote the culture of innovation and technology-based entrepreneurship, he believed that these two will take India to new heights establishing  economic prosperity.
