The Question Papers for the Madhyamik Examination, conducted by the West Bengal Board of School Education, has been leaked again on Tuesday for the sixth consecutive time shortly after the exam was conducted.
Similar tot he previous five days, physical science paper has been circulated on WhatsApp, for which the opposition parties have been criticizing the government for.
“For 6 consecutive days, #question leaked in Madhyamik examination. Never happened in #WB. A devastating situation. A destroyed education scenario,” CPI(M) MLA Sujan Chakraborty said in a tweet.
“Stop tall talks. Feel ashamed @MamataOfficial,” he added.
West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee has asked for a report on the ongoing investigation for the leaked examination papers on Monday for the allegations imposed on the Board.
Further investigation revealed five masterminds behind this, who were arrested by CID.
The Minister also released a statement stating that leak is not when the question paper is released after the commencement of the examination, it is before.
The CPI(M)’s students wing along with SFI and youth wing DYFI has been criticizing the board for the leak, while the ‘Chhatra Parishad’, the students’ wing of the state Congress, confronted the board’s office and handed over a memorandum to Ganguly.
It has been reported that Bengali, English, History, and Geography question papers have been leaked over social media for the past five days.
