After beating the lifetime earning of ‘Baahubali-The Beginning’, Rajinikanth starer ‘2.0‘ is all set to hit the screens in China. It will be released in 10000 theatres there.

‘2.0’ in just six days, surpassed the total income of ‘Baahubali-The Beginning’ which was released in 2015 and became the highest grossing Hindi dubbed South Indian film. ‘Baahubali- The Conclusion’ broke its record and earned Rs 511 crores. Breaking the record of ‘Baahubali- The Conclusion’ doesn’t seem possible for ‘2.0’ but it will cross Rs 200 crores.

The movie will release in China in May 2019 on 56,000 screens, including 47,000 3D screens. The film which has earned around Rs 250 crores in just Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in just six days, will be released across 10,000 theatres in China.

Lyca Productions which funded the movie 2.0, announced a collaboration with Chinese film distributor and producer HY Media. The producers said, “Dubbed and subtitled versions of 2.0 is slated to be released in China in 10,000 theatres with 56,000 screens (including 47,000 3D screens) in May 2019, the widest 3D release for any foreign film in history.”

Lyca Productions even shared the news on Twitter.

Trade website, Box Office India said, “The film will easily be over Rs 300 crore for the week and may finish the extended first week with the business of Rs 325 crore across India. This is a little short of Sanju which is the top film of the year in India. All India collections of 2.0 are from 6900 screens across the country while Sanju was a 4200 screen release,”

The film also stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in pivotal roles.
