Superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘2.0‘ is still running successfully in cinemas across the globe, even after 26 days of its release. Its earning is still not slowing down, even after the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’.
The film is witnessing houseful theatres after four weeks. It is smashing records every day. Only Hindi version of the film has garnered around Rs 185 crores at the box office. The film has crossed Rs 100 crore box office earning in Telugu and Tamil version also. The film’s total box office collection worldwide is around Rs 800 crores.
This is Akshay Kumar’s first film with such a massive response at the box office. 2.0 has become the third South Indian film to come this far, the first two were Baahubali franchise.
2.0 is the first foreign movie to be released on 47,000+ screens in China.

The sci-fi action movie also stars Amy Jackson and Sudhanshu Pandey in pivotal roles, it was written and directed by S. Shankar. It is said to be the most expensive Indian movie of all times. It was made under the huge budget of Rs 543 crores.
The film features Akshay Kumar as the supervillain Pakshirajan, an ornithologist who commits suicide and becomes negative energy, Rajinikanth as a scientist Vaseegaran and a robot Chitti and Amy Jackson as a humanoid robot.
