2.0 breaks the record of ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Just a day left to 2.0‘s release and the arrays of breaking and creating records doesn’t seem to stop. According to entertainment industry tracker Ramesh Bala, the film has created another record.

Bala claims that more than one million tickets of the S Shankar directorial have been sold on BookMyShow in advance. It is more than any movie, even ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ (2015) and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ (2018).

If the average ticket price assumed to be Rs 250, the film already has collected Rs 25 crores just by Book My Show.

The film will be widest worldwide release ever for an Indian film and the most expensive film, ever made in India.

Rajinikanth will be seen in double role, as scientist Vaseegaran and Robot Chitti. Akshay Kumar will be featured as supervillain Dr Richards. Amy Jackson will also be seen in a significant role.
