In spite of the fierce competition by Jason Momoa‘s ‘Aquaman‘, ‘2.0‘ has managed to survive this week and the Box Office count is still increasing. The Hindi version of the film has crossed Rs 177.75 crore so far. ‘2.0’ has surpassed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’s lifetime worldwide business by more than Rs 40 crores. 2.0 has crossed Rs 600 crore mark in the international market.

The sequel of 2010 released ‘Enthiran’, ‘Robot’ in Hindi is the most expensive Indian film and it is directed by S Shankar. It features Rajinikanth as the protagonist Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, Akshay Kumar as the supervillain Pakshirajan and Amy Jackson in a pivotal role of a humanoid robot Nila. The film’s music has been given by AR Rahman.

As much as the fans were waiting for the Thalaivar’s film, it not received mixed reviews from the audience and critics.

But 2.0’s visual effects are super fantastic and turned out to be the star of the film as it received greater appreciation than anything else in the movie. The movie was shot by the 3D cameras and the effect can be seen in theatres.

It wouldn’t be wrong to say that 2.0 is doing great and the filmmakers are eagerly waiting for its China release to add to the film’s total earnings.
