Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, ‘AK vs AK will make its way directly on Netflix this year. The story revolves around a filmmaker kidnapping a film star’s daughter and shoots it in real time. Sounds interesting, isn’t it? The film will feature Anurag Kashyap as the filmmaker and Anil Kapoor as the film star, now you got the whole point behind the title? Reportedly, apart from Anil Kapoor, the film will also feature his children including Sonam Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor.

Well if you complain about the lack of SciFi films in India, then here’s a good news for you. After being screened at various film festivals, Aarti Kadav’s film Cargo is all set for a release this year. The film will feature Vikrant Massey and Shweta Tripathi in the lead roles. Set in the spaceship named Pushpak 634A, the story follows a demon Prahastha who works on post death transition services, where dead people are recycled for rebirths. Such an interesting premise and definitely it has got all of us excited.

An independent film unfolding the real life and hardships of a monkey repeller in the city of Delhi. Directed by Pratik Vats, the film received a lot of appreciation at various film festivals and now is set to screen for free on YouTube dated 30th May. So don’t miss this interesting piece which seems to be filmed in very difficult situations. The trailer which released yesterday has already created a buzz across the nation.

Set amidst the Demonetization in the country, this story explores the dream and struggles of middle class family. The trailer itself was very thrilling as it captured two sides, one was Trauma and the other being Hope. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film will feature Roshan Matthew and Saiyami Kher in the lead roles. The film is all set to release on June 5, exclusively on Netflix.

Gulabo Sitabo

The most awaited trailer of Gulabo Sitabo made its way last week and seems to be an interesting story of a landlord and his tenant. This comedy drama features Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead roles and is directed by Shoojit Sircar. The film will be streamed on Amazon Prime slated for a release on June 12.
