The trailer of the film, full of industry’s top-rated and most talented actors, increased the expectations of the viewers. Ashutosh Rana is playing the role of a cop who has been given the task to clean Chambal from the dacoits. Almost all the others are a part of dacoit gangs who are later broken into two groups.
The synopsis of the film reads, “हार-जीत. खून-खराबा.बैमानी-बदला. Ek झलक चम्बल ke बाग़ियों ki…” (Winning-losing, bloodshed, cheating-revenge, a glimpse of rebels of Chambal…)
Screenplay and the dialogues have been written by Sudip Sharma and the music is given by Vishal Bhardwaj.
Sushant will break his ‘lover boy’ image while Bhumi as a female dacoit, with a gun on her shoulder, will break her ‘girl next door’ image with this film.
Sushant will also appear in ‘Rifleman’ this year where he will be seen playing an Army man. While Bhumi will appear in ‘Bala’ opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
