TV actress, Himani Shivpuri is finally free from the hospital. On Saturday, the city hospital in Mumbai discharged her. This is after 7 days when she first tested positive for COVID-19 and got admitted to the hospital.

She was being treated at Holy Spirit hospital in Mumbai. Though, now her doctors have advised her to stay at home quarantine, as her health is better.

Talking to the Press Trust Of India, she said :

“There is an improvement in my health and doctors suggested I should be in-home quarantine for 15 days and then I will get myself tested again.”

Apart from the doctors, she was taken care of by the healthcare workers. In an Instagram post on Friday, she thanked them. The post is as follows :

On the work front, she had shot for the comedy show, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan. Although the sets were filled with safety measures, she still caught the virus, which left her confused.

In a career that has spanned over three decades, she has worked in several popular and blockbuster Bollywood films. These include Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Hum Saath-Saath Hain, among others.

Later, after her stint in Bollywood reduced, she started appearing on TV shows, such as Yatra, Sasural Simar Ka, Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, and Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani.
