Actor, Sobhita Dhulipala was shooting for her next film, Sitara like other actors when the lockdown happened. Shooting for the film had to stop immediately and since then it has been kept on hold. Now, as the industry is gradually getting back to work, Sobhita is set to continue the film’s shoot too.
As per a news source, the makers of the film have planned to start the shooting again in November. Vandana Kataria is helming the film, with Ronnie Screwvala as its producer. The source talked to Sobhita about resuming shooting again, about which she said :
“A film like Sitara is a small step towards a larger newness in Indian cinema. As we go back to shoot in November, we return as a team that is stronger in mind, body, and spirit.”
The film is about a dysfunctional family, with full-on entertainment value.
Sobhita has starred in films such as Ramam Raghav 2.0, Ghost Stories, and KaalalKaandi. Last year her show Made In Heaven had released which brought her fame and recognition. The Zoya Akhtar-Reema Kagti created show made the audience sit up and take notice of her acting skills.
Since then, she has also appeared in the Emraan Hashmi led Netflix series, Bard Of Blood. Sobhita also has Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ in her kitty.
