It looks like Om Raut has got his Sita for his next film, Adipurush based on Ramayana. The reports from Mumbai Mirror state it to be actress, Kriti Sanon. Starring Prabhas as Lord Rama and Saif Ali Khan as the villain Lankesh, the film is coming out on August 11, 2022.
Though there is no official confirmation to this report. A source close to the publication said, “After considering several top names, from both the Hindi and Telugu industries, they decided on Kriti. She will play the character with grace and dignity.”
Reports earlier had also stated names of actresses Anushka Sharma, Keerthy Suresh and Anushka Shetty as possible choices for the role. However no official news has come out from the makers on this yet.
Meanwhile Kriti Sanon is going to start the shoot of Bachchan Pandey opposite Akshay Kumar. She also has Dinesh Vijan’s next with Rajkummar Rao.
Om Raut is going to shoot Adipurush in Hindi and Telugu. While it will also be released in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
