Small screen actress Adaa Khan says that the creativity has taken a back seat in the television industry. Adaa is looking out for her next project and right now she is just taking some time off. She was last seen in the most popular show titled ‘Naagin 2’ right now she is traveling to places and catching up with her loved ones. Post the serial of Naagin 2 she was spending her time with her family and along with her friends. She even got back from Thailand, now again she is all set to go to Goa and she believes that traveling is the one thing in her life which keeps her busy all the time.
However, she says that she is waiting for something good and she is not in rush to get the work she is basically looking for something which is challenging in terms of work. From the very beginning, she says that she wanted to do a challenging role and she got that one also. Now, she wants to take up something which excites her as an actor. Adaa says that there are a lot of roles which she wanted to do earlier but they are already done by some of the other actors and they did a good job. She did not want to repeat the same things and she does not want to be compared to the actors who have already made a mark in that role.
Adaa wants to do the role which is considered as her role and she wants that people should love her in that role. She wanted to be appreciated for her work and she wants to make a mark for herself rather than doing something which someone has already done that before. When asked that does she is doing the show ‘Naagin 3’? On this Adaa said that as if now she is not committed to any of the show and now she wants to do the lead role for a good show. The actor even admits that there was a time when she has been selective in terms of the daily soaps.
Adaa says that she has been very choosy related to her work and she has refused many shows because of this nature of hers. She loves to play those roles on the screen which excites her the most she does not like doing the regular roles. She always likes doing something different which people love. She even said that if people remember the Amrit from Amrit Manthan in that she played the role of a negative and of course no doubt she loves the Shesha so she wants to do such roles which people remember her for doing that.
She believes that the actor’s creativity has been the part of the television industry and it’s been a while now and she feels that there are a lot of things which have changed in the industry over the years. Now, she feels that the creativity has taken a back seat and TRP and the business has taken over many things. These days they have many other mediums to watch the shows, which was not possible in the earlier times and this is the main reason of the dropping TRP and the shows are shutting down very quickly.
Moreover, she says that she is very much open to do a reality show, but for the top reality show Big Boss she feels that that is not her cup of tea. She likes doing reality shows which will be based on the adventure something related to Khatron Ke Khiladi or it may be any dance reality show. However, she says that as far as the show Bigg Boss is concerned she does not think that she can able to do that. Earlier, she got an offered from the Bigg Boss house but she has refused the offer because she is just not interested in doing that.
