Everyone wished that it should not happen, but it did. Veteran singer, Anuradha Paudwal’s son, Aditya Paudwal passed away in a hospital, in Mumbai today. A devastating blow to the veteran singer. Aditya was just 35 years old.
Confirming the news of his death, Singer-Composer, Shankar Mahadevan talked to the ‘indianexpress.com’ and said :
“Aditya was only 35 and such a vivacious person. He was unwell for many years actually. He had some physical ailments on and off, because of which he also had hypertension. He was unwell many years ago but then he recovered. He even got fit, but it recurred. It had to do something with his lungs and finally, his kidneys failed. The last four days he was in the hospital, in the ICU, and this morning he passed away. Very sad.”
The singer even shared a condolence post for Aditya on Facebook.
Aditya was a music arranger and composer. He had worked on the film “Thackeray”, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead. For the last few months, he was suffering from kidney-related issues.
As the news of his death reached people, they paid their respects to him on Twitter. With Ghazal singer, Pankaj Udas also tweeting. His tweet read :

Indeed this is a tough loss for Anuradha Paudwal. A loss of a young son is damaging and may she find strength in these trying times.
