A battle is brewing in the bosom of the actor, Aditya Roy Kapur. This battle is intense and one which he must win to conquer himself. No, the actor is not going on the path of self-realization but he is undertaking a new journey.
This journey starts with his next film, OM- The Battle Within. He is starring in the action-thriller as a lead, which debutante director Kapil Verma is making. Producing Aditya’s new film is Zee Studios, Ahmed Khan, and Shaira Khan.
For Aditya, the news of his new venture could not have come out on a more special day than his birthday. Today, 16th November 2020 marks the actor’s 35th Birthday, and on this day the revelation of his new film came out.
In a statement about the film, the actor said :
“Last year I was juggling between shooting Malang and Ludo around this time and both the films have received immense love and appreciation. COVID notwithstanding, this year has been a special one on the work front. I have been living with OM for a few months now and to see it being announced on my birthday makes it extremely special. Looking forward to the journey.”
Recently his new film, Anurag Basu’s Ludo also released. Aditya’s performance in the film is being praised and loved, which makes the film a worthy addition to his filmography.
For OM – The Battle Within, Aditya is going to do a lot of action sequences. This also warrants him to train for it, about which producer Ahmed Khan said :
“Adi will be doing full-on action for the first time. He is structurally built for action, and this character fits him. Adi has been training with specialists for a while.”
The film is scheduled for release in the second half of 2021.
