The past weekend was not the most nicest of weekends for the Bachchan family. Four members tested positive for the Coronavirus. The four members were Amitabh, Abhishek, Aishwarya and Aaradhya. Only Amitabh’s wife Jaya Bachchan tested negative for the virus. The superstar himself tweeted this news to his fans.
Amitabh posted the following tweet on Twitter :
T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited ..
All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !— Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) July 11, 2020
While, his son Abhishek also tweeted to his fans and urged them to maintain calm. He requested them to refrain from spreading panic amongst others too. On the other hand, along with Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan and other family members are the one who have tested negative for the virus.
Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan will qurantine at the Nanavati hospital, while Aishwarya along with Aaradhya will quarantine at their home.
As the virus is deadly and can contract quickly if not checked, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) went to all the three bungalows of the Bachchan family to sanitize them. They also inspected signs for contact tracing.
Abhishek’s new series “Breathe Into The Shadows” has recently released. The show which released on Amazon Prime, also stars Amit Sadh as his co-star. After the news of Abhishek testing positive for the virus broke out, concerns arose that Amit too may have contracted the virus.
Amit was feeling fine but nevertheless got the test conducted to wither away any uncertainty. He tested negative for the virus and shared the news on Twitter. He tweeted :

The actor is in fine condition and even the Bachchan family have slowly started their journey towards recovery. Each member has mild symptoms, which will recover and whose process has already started.
Many people tweeted for the family’s welfare and expressed their best wishes and support for the family on social media. Amitabh Bachchan was floored with people’s love.
