Actor Ram Charan Teja and talented filmmaker Mani Ratnam is going to collaborate for the upcoming project. As of now it seems that things are going in the positive direction, According to the reports, the two are in talks with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the same project. Mani Ratnam is planning to bring beautiful actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on the board to play the love interest of Dhruva star Ram Charan in this upcoming romantic entertainer which will be trilingual, in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
Aishwarya Rai made her acting debut with Ratnam’s political drama ‘Iruvar’ in 1997 opposite superstar Mohanlal. And after that she never looked back. ‘Raavan’ was her last film with the director in 2010, which also had Abhishek Bachchan and Vikram in the lead roles.
Recently at Cannes, during a FaceTime interview, Aishwarya said that she took a break for five months because of personal reasons. She also disclosed that she has begun listening to scripts and sources revealed that she has almost finalized two of them. One of them, which she liked the most was Mani Ratnam’s. Though Mani and Aishwarya were in talks to team up for a movie earlier, looks like it has taken its shape now.
Earlier, Ram Charan had revealed that Mani Ratnam was supposed to work with him in a film, which did not materialize and they both were in talks ever since. Based on Ratnam’s advice, he decided to change his onscreen image and reinvent himself as an actor with last year’s Dhruva.
Ram Charan is currently busy shooting for director Sukumar’s untitled flick. The actor will be seen portraying the role of a villager in his next film. Charan is expected to be seen in a completely new avatar. Recently, he wrapped up a schedule in and around some scenic locations of Rajahmundry.
