Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is all set to produce the television show which will be based on the life of yoga guru and an entrepreneur Baba Ramdev. The show has a title ‘Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh’ is said to be a scripted biopic series and that biopic will trace the Baba Ramdev’s journey from a life of anonymity to a renowned yoga guru and a business mogul.
According to the recent reports, Naman Jain, a child actor who rose the popularity of the show titled ‘Chillar Party’ is all set to play the younger Ramdev, Ramkishan, ib the show. The show has been produced by the Ajay Devgn Film Productions and Water Gate Production.
About the show, Aja Devgn says that there is a huge expectation from the biopic series and the makers of the show want to ensure that the somebody who fits into the role perfectly gets to play the role of Ramkishan as the audience will get to know the very first time about the early days of the Swami Ramdev.
Moreover, Ajay says that Naman Jain is hugely a talented for his age and earlier he has delivered a captivating performance. On this Naman replied that he is very much honored to play the role though it was challenging for him.
However, Ajay Devgn clarifies that the task to make a series on the Swami Ramdev was just not easy. The makers of the show faced multiple challenges as a child and it was very important for Ajay to understand the social tensions that prevailed in a small village. It is also very challenging for him to adopt the style of Baba Ramdev and portray the character.
The show ‘Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh’ will premier on the soon-to-be-launched GEC channel Discovery Jeet.
