The most loved comedy franchises ‘Golmaal’ is coming back again with its fourth installment titled ‘Golmaal Again‘. Golmaal Again will be Rohit Shetty’s tenth film with Ajay Devgn.
Recreating a popular track in the new film has been a trend and most of the director-producers are opting for this method to make their movie even more exciting. And Rohit Shetty is the latest one to join this trend. Reportedly, Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal Again’ will have a recreated version of ‘Neend Churayi Meri’ from the 1997 blockbuster ‘Ishq’ that starred Ajay Devgn, Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla and Kajol in the lead.
Interestingly, Ajay Devgn, who is going to dance on this new recreated version of the song, was the one who romanced Kajol in the original track.
Confirming the news, Amaal Mallik says, “I am doing two songs for the film, one among which is Neend Churayi. It’s a big responsibility. It is also a tribute to my uncle, Anu Malik, who composed the original.”
Mallik says he won’t include rap or EDM in his version. “We will retain the hook line and add new verses to the song. It will suit the mood of the film.”While the song will be recorded soon, the composer hasn’t decided the singer for his version of the song.
The entire cast of the film includes Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Tushar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade and Rohit Shetty. ‘Golmaal Again’ is all set to release on Diwali this year.
