Ajay Devgn is an Indian film actor, director, and producer. Ajay has appeared in over a hundred Hindi films. In 2016, Ajay was honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri, which is the fourth highest civilian honour of the country. He rose the popularity from his most talked about film “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” in which he played the role of Vanraj, a man tries to unite his wife with her lover.
Ajay Devgn surprised everyone by unveiling the first look of his film ‘Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior’ on Thursday night. He posted the first look of his film along with a caption, “He fought for his People, his Soil & his King Chhatrapati Shivaji. The movie is based on the Subedar Taanaji Malusare, an able warrior who fought for his people, motherland, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The movie will be directed by Om Raut and the period of the film based on one of the glorious chapters of Indian history.
Meanwhile, Ajay is gearing up for his upcoming release “Baadshaho”, which is an upcoming Indian action thriller film. The movie is written by Rajat Arora and directed by Milan Luthria. It is a story of “six badasses” set in the emergency period of 1975 when they looted a truck full of gold. The film features Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta, Ileana D’Cruz and Vidyut Jammwal in the lead roles.
‘Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior’ is slated for a worldwide release in 2019.
