It seems like the makers of Akshay Kumar’s next film ‘Bellbottom’ are using this quote as a source of inspiration. Even as the world fights the Coronavirus, the team of the film are going to start shooting next month in the United Kingdom.
Yesterday, the makers of the film announced two new members as part of the film. These were, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi. Last week, the makers had revealed, Vani Kapoor as the film’s leading lady opposite Akshay Kumar.
Since, the film will be among the first few films to resume shooting after the film industry was shut down for more than three months because of the lockdown, Akshay Kumar emphasized the importance of going back to work again and the duty of artists to entertain the audience. In an interview, Akshay was quoted saying:
“We are glad to be able to start shooting for Bellbottom after the long lockdown. The team has made special plans and taken precautions keeping the current situation in mind. I am looking forward to the industry to begin doing what it does best and entertain the audiences again.”
Ranjit M Tewari is helming the film, while Jackky Bhagnani and Nikkhil Advani are the co-producers. Jackky is excited to start working again, though he outlines that the makers are going to give the team’s safety priority over everything else. He said :
“There are a number of people dependent on the film industry starting up again. We wanted Bellbottom to take shape the best way possible, but at the same time keeping the safety of the crew as our top priority.
It will release on April 2, 2021. Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh have penned its script. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is waiting for the release of his another film, Sooryavanshi which will come out on Diwali.
