Akshay, Karan join hands for 'Kesari'

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and the filmmaker Karan Johar have now joined hands for their upcoming movie title ‘Kesari‘, which will be based on the battle of the Saragarhi. The movie is scheduled to hit the screens during the Holi 2019. The movie will be directed by Anurag Singh.

Yesterday, Bollywood Analyst Taran Adarsh revealed this news on his Twitter account along with a caption saying,

The movie ‘Kesari’, which is based on the life of the bravest battles fought in India was ‘The Battle Of Saragarhi’. About his upcoming movie, Akshay says that he is very excited personally as well as emotionally about the movie. However, the other details of the movie have not been revealed yet.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will also be seen in his upcoming movie titled ‘Gold’, which is directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner Excel Entertainment. The movie is said to be based on the life of hockey player Balbir Singh as he was on the team that won the first Olympic medal for India as a free nation in 1948. The movie features Akshay Kumar in the lead. The movie is about India’s first Olympic medal win as a free nation in the year 1948 in London.
