Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan make a great on-screen couple, and will reportedly work together for their next titled ‘Good News.’ This film will mark the return the Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar pair, after doing movies together like Kambakkht Ishq, Tashan and Aitraaz. The actress, however, has previously made special appearances in two of Akshay Kumar’s films — Gabbar Is Back, Rowdy Rathore and Brothers.
The movie is a rom-com in which Akshay and Kareena will be seen playing a couple who want to become parents and are trying to have a baby. The plot will revolve around two married couples and is a unique take on love and marriage. While Akshay and Kareena play one of them, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh have been finalized to play the other. The comedy film will be directed by Raj Mehta and is going to be a family drama.
In his recent interview with film critic Rajeev Masand, Akshay Kumar happened to mention, “I’m doing a film called Good News which is completely different. It’s a real incident by the way – what happened in Good News. But it’s very very funny what happened.”
According to the DNA report, the film is expected to go on floors this November. Akshay is currently busy with promotions of his upcoming film ‘Gold’ and will later complete shooting for his next project ‘Housefull 4.’
Akshay is currently looking forward to the release of Gold. The sports drama will hit the screens on August 15.
