Actor Akshay Kumar and her leading lady Manushi Chhillar visited Varanasi for the promotion of Samrat Prithviraj. The duo were accompanied by the film’s director Chandraprakash Diwedi. While Akshay was seen sporting a light pink coloured kurta and white pyjama, the former Miss World, Manushi Chillar wore a baby pink salwar kameez. Donned in their beautiful traditional attires, the duo visited Varanasi to seek blessings for their upcoming film.

Akshay Kumar’s video from Varanasi is going viral as a paparazzi captured the moment of Khiladi Kumar taking a dip in the Ganga. The actor can be seen joining his hands above his head before diving into the holy waters of Varanasi. Check out the video.

It seemed that Akshay Kumar enjoyed a little swim in the holy water. His much-anticipated historical drama Samrat Prithviraj is scheduled to hit the theatres on June 3.

More About ‘Samrat Prithviraj’

Helmed by Chandraprakash Diwedi, the film entails the journey of King Prithviraj Chauhan. Based on Prithviraj Raso by Chand Bardai, the film features Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan and Manushi Chhillar as his love interest, Princess Sanyogita. The film marks Manushi’s debut in Bollywood. Recently the makers dropped the trailer of Samrat Prithviraj. Check out the trailer here.

The film recently went a name change after Shree Rajput Karni Sena accused the makers of being disrespectful. Chandraprakash Diwedi’s directorial drama Samrat Prithviraj is slated to hit the theatres on June 3.
