Director Vipul Shah has confirmed that Akshay Kumar is not doing his next “Namaste England” as he has opted out from the project. Vipul is all set to make his directorial comeback after a break of seven years. The duo was last seen together in “Action Replayy”. Ever since Vipul has announced his next film “Namaste London” there was a lot of rumours that the film is a sequel of 2007 hit ‘Namaste London’ starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. However, Vipul Shah has clarified all the details of Namaste England.

Recently, in an interview, Vipul Shah said,”It’s preposterous to suggest that I’d replace Akshay. People need to know that we’ve been together for the past 16 years. Our relationship goes beyond doing one film.”

Due to the busy schedule, Akshay won’t be doing a movie, it’s not because Akshay is more interested doing a meaningful cinema rather than masala films. However, the filmmaker is now progressing with the project after getting a go-ahead from Akshay on using the title.

Vipul said,”When I called Akshay to ask if we can use the title of the film, he said, ‘Arre Vipul yaar, what is the issue?’”

A few days back, there were rumours that Saif Ali Khan has replaced Akshay. However, nothing has been officially confirmed yet regarding the new cast.
