In times of need, Akshay kumar always steps up. Now, the actor has donated Rs 45 Lakhs to Cine and TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) in order to help the people who are affected by the pandemic.

Confirming the news, Senior Joint Secretary of CINTAA, Amit Behl in an interview said “The initiative to approach Akshay Kumar was taken up by one of the committee members and Ayub Khan. Ayub spoke to Jaaved Jaaferi and Sajid Nadiadwala about the problems of our cine employees. We then approached Akshay Kumar and he immediately agreed to help us.”

According to Behl, Kumar has already transferred Rs 3000 directly to the bank accounts of 1500 cine and Tv workers. Both Akshay Kumar and producer Sajid Nadiadwala are willing to help as many people as they can.

Around 10000 cine and TV who work are associated with CINTAA. Help is being provided to all of them and financial help is pouring in from different sides of the industry.
