Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna has delivered the two movies this year ‘Mom’ and ‘Ittefaq’. Earlier there were reports that he would be seen essaying the role in a web series with a title ‘The Family Man’ for the very first time. The web series will be directed by the directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
According to the latest reports that say that an actor has been replaced by the Manoj Bajpayee for the role. Sources reveal that Akshaye quoted a ridiculous amount and that is the reason the makers of the web series had to drop an idea of casting him in the web series. He has asked the price which is almost the thrice as his usual price and on that producers did not agree with that and there was no further discussions with him post that.
The makers of the web series titled ‘The Family Man’ were in the search of an actor who has the capability to handle the serious lead role and then the makers have come down on the Manoj Bajpayee and was identified as the ideal choice. When the actor Manoj was approached by the makers he was quite impressed with the script and gave him his nod.
The web series will be the Manoj Bajpayee’s debut on the digital platform. The web series will show the special cell agent and who is trying to solve a major case. The series will be revolving around the major socio-political problem. However, his character is not filmy one in the web series he is playing the most realistic character in the series.
However, the members of the special task have been portrayed in the television series like ‘Quantico’ or ‘Homeland’. He is playing the character which is one on the streets just to find the information discreetly. The other cast members have not been selected yet and the female lead in the web series is yet to be cast too.
