After a lot of conjectures making the round in Bollywood regarding the lead role in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s next, Milan Talkies, Ali Fazal has finally bagged the role.
The star of Fukrey franchise had a tough competition from a lot of other actors for the role. If rumors are to be believed, many ace actors including Shahid Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana and Aditya Kapoor were speculated to play the protagonist in the movie but it’s Ali who has been roped in at last.
Apparently Ali has read the script and given his consent for the role. According to sources, “He has given his dates and Tigmanshu is currently on the lookout for the leading lady. It is set in North India and Ali will start shooting in the second week of March after he returns from the Academy Awards ceremony to be held on March 4”.
The actor has a lot of Hollywood roles too to his credit. His last Hollywood flick Victoria and Abdul also starring Judi Dench has been nominated for 2 categories in the 90th Academy Awards. Ali also has another Hollywood movie in pipeline and will be seen back home in Prakash Raj’s Tadka and in the sequel of Happy Bhaag Jayegi with co-star Diana Penty.
Ali has marked his presence in renowned Hollywood movies like Fast and Furious.
