Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt says that the audience will see her in a totally different avatar in her upcoming movie ‘Raazi‘. The movie will be directed by Meghna Gulzar and co-produced by Karan Johar. The movie features Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead role.
An actress Alia is essaying the lead role in the movie and she says that this time the audience will see her in a completely different avatar at least and this is her wish because her upcoming movie ‘Raazi’ is a different movie.
She says that this is the very first time when she is doing a period movie and the movie will be based on a true story as well. She is very much excited and she wishes that the audience will like her efforts which she is giving in a movie.
Recently, actor Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt had come together to spread the message of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’. They both have recreated the magic of Romeo and Juliet. They have even said that we should not waste our love on somebody who does not even value that.
They recorded a short clip which was a part of the clean India initiative and it was released by the actors on their Twitter page and hopes to drive home an important point that if you do not litter in abroad then why they litter in India.
On this Alia says that the campaign is very much important for her because she feels that who does not want clean India and in the clip both of them have added some humor to it so that the audience will also get entertained but they focused on the point that ‘Badlega scene Jab India Hoga clean”.
When asked the actress that does she wants to be stylish? On this Alia replied that yes she wants to be stylish and she likes to stay stylish always and she feels that it has become very necessary for everyone these days to be stylish.
Talking much about her upcoming movie ‘Raazi’, which is said to be an adaption of the Harinder Sikka’s novel with a title ‘Calling Sehmat’. The novel has been inspired by an almost unbelievable and real-life story of a woman whom Sikka named Sehmat and she protects her identity.
In the movie, Alia is essaying the role of a Sehmat, a Kashmiri woman and she got married to a Pakistani officer with an intention that she will take out all the details and then she will pass it off to the Indian forces. An actor Vicky Kaushal is playing the role of a Pakistani officer. The movie will be shot in Punjab, Kashmir, and Mumbai.
The movie ‘Raazi’ is slated to release on 11 May 2018.
