Alia Bhatt’s previous movie “Udta Punjab” faced quite a few problems at the censor board. This time, she says that the censor board has been kind with her next film, “Dear Zindagi”. There were reports that the Gauri Shinde directed movie got a U/A rating from the censor board with no cuts at all.
When asked about it, Alia told reporters last night, “I am very excited. Censor board has been very kind, very generous, and very sweet with their words. My film is getting released and I just want to see the audience’s reaction.” The 23-year-old actress was speaking at the launch of Twinkle Khanna’s book “The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad”.
Alia was all praise for Twinkle’s sense of humor. “Her sense of humor is at some other level. You can watch Koffee with Karan to know that. I am a huge admirer of the human being that Twinkle is. I am honoured to be here at her book launch,” she said.
The actress is geared for her next release “Dear Zindagi” scheduled to release on November 25. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Angad Bedi, Kunal Kapoor among others.
