The real-life couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor shooting for their first collaboration, Brahmastra which is directed by Ayan Mukherji and produced by Karan Johar under his Dharma Productions Label. Brahmastra is in headlines since its announcement in 2017 and shooting for the same is going on with breaks.
Brahmastra is a superhero film that stars Amitabh Bachchan, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles and will serve as the first film in a planned trilogy.
Brahmastra is a big project and has been shot at various locations to develop characters. The principal photography started in Bulgaria and wrapped up on 24th March 2018 which was followed by London, New York and again in Bulgaria. The extensive shooting started in February 2019 at Edinburgh, Scotland.
The final schedule started in the Ramnagar Fort in Varanasi in July 2019. According to the reports, each shooting location holds some special significance in the screenplay and story of the film. Now the Ranbir-Alia duo is set to jet off to Manali for their next schedule of 15 days. It is stated that the Manali schedule will showcase an important part of Shiva’s life as Shiva (played by Ranbir) will discover his powers in the Himalayas.
As we all know that Brahmastra was slated to release on Christmas this year but now it will be released in the summers next year. Recently a source was quoted saying, “Ranbir, Alia, and the entire cast will fly to Manali in November for a 15-day shoot. Every location carries Shiva’s (RK’s character) story forward.
Manali, too, plays an important role in the screenplay. All the locations in India that feature in the story reference the central characters. During the Manali schedule, the story of Shiva’s origin and self-discovery will be traced.”
Since we know that Brahmastra is a trilogy, the first part would portray Shiva’s discovery of his powers to generate fire from his palms. We all are eagerly waiting to witness the Bollywood’s most happening couple’s on-screen chemistry. What about you?
