Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan will turn 75 on Wednesday. Amitabh’s work diary is already spilling into 2019 and he still remains firmly not out and he is continuing a glorious journey he has been into this industry for almost over four decades. In the industry where the roles are seldom written for the legendary actors. He is experimenting with his looks, characters, as well as the themes and he always does that with an enthusiasm and passion of a newcomer.

Director Umesh Shukla says that whenever he comes on the set he is always in the character. He never felt like he is directing the superstar of the Bollywood, he always felt that he is directing the character. Amitabh Bachchan is working with the director Umesh Shukla in his upcoming movie titled ‘102 Not Out’.

Umesh said that whenever he steps out of his vanity van, he usually comes out in that mood which is required for a scene and he makes the whole atmosphere like that. It feels very good to work with him. Amitabh Bachchan is doing a very challenging role in his upcoming movie title ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’. In the movie, he can be seen in an armored look with a heavy beard. In the movie ‘Thugs Of Hindostan,’ he will be sharing the screen with Aamir Khan for the very first time, Aamir has been a long admirer.

After watching Amitabh giving his shot, Aamir felt that he has an aura, action, every nuance of his acting was such a fulfilling experience in the Hindi cinema. Amitabh Bachchan is currently in the Maldives for a vacation along with his wife Jaya, daughter Shweta, son  Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and along with her granddaughter Aaradhya. He will be soon back and will resume his shooting soon. Amitabh said that his small family time is just more than enough for him.

S.M.M Ausaja’s forthcoming book ‘The Bachchans’ retraces the journey of what he calls the premier family of Bollywood. The family of Bachchan is a spectacular example of talent and luck. If you are very talented, but your luck is not good then you are Naseeruddin Shah and if you are less with the talent but you are good with your luck then you are Jeetendra. If we talk about Amitabh then in his case he has a right mix of talent along with luck. Amitabh is very unconventional with his looks and amidst a string of actors for whom it was the romance genre all around the way.

Amitabh started with a role as one of the seven protagonists in the movie ‘Saat Hindustani’. His next movie was with the actor Rajesh Khanna and the title of that movie was ‘Anand’ and he did few more films. But, he rose the popularity from the 1973 movie ‘Zanjeer’ and after that, there was a no stopping him then.

Moreover, he has done many sensitive movies like ‘Ek Nazar’. ‘Mili’, and ‘Abhimaan’ along with this he has given many hit movie s like ‘Deewar’, ‘Sholay’, ‘Mard’, ‘Naseeb’, ‘Namak Haram’, ‘Kabhie Kabhie’, ‘Don’, ‘Hum’, ‘Shahenshah’. In the year 1973, he was on the top of the list of the movies like ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’, ‘Trishul’, ‘Don’, ‘Kasme Vaade’ and much more.

He suffered the injury on the sets of the movie ‘Coolie’ and that injury led him to take a break from the movies and then he ventured into the politics from his native Allahabad. He has even contested the Lok Sabha elections on the Congress ticket in 1984, but unfortunately, he did not continue his political journey for so long. Later, he found himself in the infamous Bofors scandal, but he cleared all those allegations 25 years later and he remains political even though he associates himself with issue-related to the social campaigns for the governments once in a while.

The son of the legendary poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan was in a top form until 1998. Post the release of the movie ‘Shahenshah’ his career started falling down when the directors of his movies are started presenting him as larger than life characters in the movies like ‘Toofan’, Jaadugar’. Later he has given many flop movies and there were many other problems are as well then he decided to come up on the television with a show titled ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ in 2000 he was in the worst phase of his career. After Kaun Banega Crorepati his rise began and he started playing the character of his own age on screen and he reinvented himself with every project like ‘Sarkar’, ‘Baghban’, ‘Bunty aur Babli’, ‘Paa’, ‘Black’.

He is getting more famous and his popularity is binding the factors for the country. However, he got failed when he launched the Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Ltd in 1990, but his acting acumen has taken him places. He has earned many names in the Bollywood town like ‘Angry Young Man” and ‘Shahenshah’. He even won the love of the fans and on every Sunday his fans come to meet him. Amitabh Bachchan still works for 14 to 15 hours in a day and this is really commendable at his age. He is always on his toes and he never is seen tired. Sometimes the makers of the movie tell him to rest and take it easy but he says no and he will rest later and that’s a spirit.
