Excel Entertainment’s upcoming biographical Telegu epic action film SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy, will cast Amitabh Bachchan along with eminent South Indian actors Chiranjeevi, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, among others.

Set around 30 years prior to the India’s first war of independence of 1857, SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy is the story of a freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who revolted against the British.
Amitabh Bachchan has been an eminent Bollywood personality for the last 3 decades, with successful films such as Sholay, Amar Akbar Anthony and Don, and some newer ones such as Sarkar and Kabhi Alvida na Kehna. Currently 76, he proudly holds four National Film Awards as Best Actor and fifteen Filmfare Awards, among other accolades.
He was also one of the few recipients of Padma Shri Award, Padma Bhushan and the Padma Vibhushan in 1984, 2001, and 2015 respectively, for his contribution to Performing Arts. He was also honoured by the French Government with the Legion of Honour, the highest civilian honour of France in, 2007 for his exceptional career in the world of cinema and beyond.
SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy is set to release during the fall of 2019.
