One of the most loved television quiz based reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati‘ is ready to return on the small screen this year. The host of the show Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan announced the show’s return in 2019 through his social media account.
Keeping the tradition alive Senior Bachchan will host the show for the tenth time. Big B was the host of the show for nine seasons, except season 3 when superstar Shahrukh Khan took over the show. ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ is based on a British programme ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’.
Taking the good news to Twitter the legendary actor wrote, “T 3089 – आदर आदाब अभिनंदन आभार ! मैं अमिताभ बच्चन प्रस्तुत करने जा रहा हूँ , इस वर्ष २०१९ का नया अभियान … कौन बनेगा करोड़पति … KBC !!??❤️❤️????

The last season of the show ended on November 23, 2018, and the actor tweeted a heartfelt note after the wrap-up shoot. He wrote, “KBC finale done. End of this season. It is 10 seasons of KBC… its 18 years of KBC from the year 2000. For me 716 episodes of KBC, 855 hours over 9 seasons additionally about 3-4 hours of work over each episode and another 4-5 hours of prep on each episode.”
The tenth season saw several memorable moments. The makers of the show took Mr. Bachchan by surprise by playing a short video on the sets on his birthday. The video ended with the sweet voice of his mother singing a song written by his father.
Season’s finale episode had Comedy king Kapil Sharma and Chandan Prabhakar as guests and after the shoot, Kapil tweeted, “Once again had the opportunity to be a part of Kaun Banega Crorepati and meet @SrBachchan. Thanks a lot fro this love and respect. You are truly a Megastar. salute million times.”
