Amitabh Bachchan gave us the best surprise on his Facebook live chat when he announced about Kaun Banega Crorepati’s return to the small screen. Amitabh, who is the star of the show is back and this would be seen hosting the 9th season of the G.K show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’
Amitabh Bachchan has hosted 7 out of the 8 seasons and has been the constant highlight of the show. When Big B fell ill after the second season, Shah Rukh Khan was approached but he couldn’t keep up with the Amitabh factor and the TRPs of the show fell drastically. Such is the charm of Big B. However, after Big B was back on track, he resumed with the 4th season of KBC and since then, there has been no turning back for the legend.
Earlier there was a news that Amitabh will no more host a general knowledge show ‘KBC’ and the channel was in talks with both Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to host the show. In all these years, ‘KBC’ has never been hosted by a female celebrity so they wanted an actress to host the show. But now, Amitabh has finally given his dates for KBC and will start shooting in August. Amitabh has given the makers 17 days, 10 days in August and 7 days in September. The shooting will start soon and this season will have about 30 episodes.
