The Indian film director, actor and screenwriter Sujoy Ghosh unveiled the first official look of his upcoming Hindi film ‘Badla‘ starring Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. The director took to Twitter to share the film’s poster and captioned it by the release date, which is 8th March.
The poster shows Big B from behind, in a black suit walking on a bridge with a briefcase in the hand. This corporate look of Amitabh Bachchan might remind one of his role from ‘Kaante’.

The film also stars Taapsee Pannu, Tony Luke, Akash Puri, Denzil Smith, Puja Banerjee, Kaushik Sen, and Amrita Singh.
The film, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Azure Entertainment, is the remake of the 2016 Spanish crime thriller film ‘Contratiempo’.
The Spanish film revolves around a murder mystery. The investigation of the case uncovers more murders and crimes, with interesting twists and turns.
Sujoy’ last directorial was a short film titled ‘Anukul’, which came out in 2017. He was also the producer and screenwriter of the film.
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been in the industry for almost half a century and has worked in more than 100 movies till date. He made his debut with ‘Saat Hindustani’ in 1969, for which he was awarded National Film Award for Best Newcomer.
Last year, the actor gave two movies and two cameo appearances in Akshay Kumar‘s ‘Padman‘ and Kajol’s ‘Helicopter Eela’. His ‘102 Not Out‘ was a sleeper hit, and it did good business in the Indian and global market including China. His another released ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ turned out to be one of the biggest flops.
He is currently busy with the shooting of Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra‘ and he will also be seen in a Telugu film ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ in a cameo role.
