Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana announced the release date of his upcoming action-drama An Action Hero on Friday. Sharing the new poster on Twitter, the actor writes, “Stay in the blur till 2nd of December 2022.”

Unveiling the poster, the actor mentions the release date of An Action Hero. The makers have locked 2nd December as its release date. Besides Ayushmann, the film also features Paatal Lok famed actor Jaideep Ahlawat in the lead role.

Produced by Anand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar, An Action Hero is billed as a slick actioner with an offbeat satirical sense of humour. The film marks the first action film of Ayushmann’s career. The actor will be seen in a unique avatar distinct from his mainstream roles.
Talking about the film, Ayushmann said, “I absolutely loved the script of Action Hero instantly. It’s zany, it’’ fresh, it’s disruptive, and it has all the trappings of cinema that I have come to be known for.” Directed by Anirudh Iyer, the film is set to release on December 2, 2022.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann has announced another film Anek. The film will be hitting the theatres next month. The actor took to his social media to share the poster of Anek. The post captions, “All set on a mission to unite the nation. Jeetega Kaun? Hindustan! Anek in cinemas on 27th May, 2022.”
Helmed by Anubhav Sinha, the political thriller Anek will bring out the question about what it truly takes to be an Indian. Jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Mediaworks, the film is set to release on May 27, 2022.
