Prashant or Angry Prash as the nation knows him today is first of his kind Indian animation YouTuber, who has never revealed his face in any of his videos and nor any interviews.
Prash was born and brought up in Pune. An average schoolboy whose immediate goal was to secure the first position in his class, Prash understood very early in life that to get attention, one has to be on top. Prash is an engineering dropout and an outstanding animator. His failures didn’t stop him and the numbers corroborate to the love and affection that he has been showered with.
Prash began his journey on YouTube in a totally different way, one that is not known to many. Prash began posting CAD tutorial videos on his channel which did exceedingly well but was shut down by copyright strikes. Even though he was disheartened, he didn’t let failure stop him and was rather motivated by it even more. He went on to create another channel where he posted animation videos using simply MS-Paint and which were recorded and edited in Vegas Pro. The channel Angry Prash has videos that are not just mere ranting but one that voices an opinion, which gave him an edge over others and bam! Angry Prash touches 50k mark in no time.
Prash’s content was valued by people and it led to the rise of one of the most loyal fanbases YouTube has ever seen. Prash started making money off YouTube and decided to give up on his engineering and focus completely on the hustle and the ever increasing competition.
Prash is seen as one of the fastest growing brands in the country, within three months Prash hits 500k subscribers and was signed by Nofiltr. However, Prash didn’t inform his family about the venture earlier but only did it during this period and gained complete support from them as well. After hitting the 2M mark on youtube, Prash has moved to Mumbai and along with Nofiltr group is not just breaking records and destroying competition but is also destroying the norms.
Prash’s Angry Prash channel is ever increasing and has currently 2.9M subscribers, and he is likely to touch the 3M mark in the coming week. He also has let’s play channel called “Prash Gaming” with 300k subscribers and is blowing up like a PUBG grenade because of the recent and increasing hype in the gaming market. He also started a third channel called “Zara Hatke”. Prash also produced and performed his own rap debut, titled “Mai Ek Noob”, which has over 3.4M views and now Prash is all set for his second song.
Angry Prash is literally an all-rounder; a gamer, a rapper, a YouTuber and now he is onto his next venture. Prash’s own new web series is also under production right now and is expected to create a stir in the industry.
Angry Prash is the embodiment of the anger that is inside every person who wishes to bring a change, who wishes to give voice to his opinion but is unheard from a long while now. Prash is that collective voice which is tired of doing things according to a set of norms that are too rigid to change and doesn’t give space for the newer norms to set in.
