short film awardede with the Best International Short Film award at the Vancouver international film festival.!

Legendary actor Anupam Kher‘s short movie titled ‘Kheer‘ has recently awarded the Best International Short Film award at the Vancouver international film festival. Recently, Anupam has been appointed as the chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India.

The movie ‘Kheer’ is written by Sharanya Rajagopal and Surya Balakrishnan and directed by Surya Balakrishnan. The movie shows the time when his grandsons bring their love to home just to introduce them to their families. The movie deals with a grandfather (the role played by the Anupam Kher) and he is in a sticky situation that now he has to deal with introducing his lady friend to his grandchildren.

Anupam Kher even shared this news on his Twitter account by saying, “Indian short film wins at Vancouver fest @thetribunechd.”

The movie is as sweet as the title of the movie and the movie is a seven minute long. The short movie has got 1.5 lakh views in a day. The movie features Natasha Rastogi and child actors Stuti Dixit and Abhimanyu Chawla. There were some other short movies from the Terribly Tiny Talkies like ‘Dry Day’, ‘Arre Baba’, and ‘The Day After’. after all these, they are very excited to see that how an actor Anupam Kher has reinvented himself completely in a new genre of a filmmaking.
