Never cared about naysayers: Anupam Kher!

Legendary actor Anupam Kher says that he has never cared about the naysayers. Recently he got appointed as a Chairperson of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). According to the reports, there is a rumor about the clash of interest that how his new job poses along with his own acting school. Anupam says that naysayers have always been there whenever he has held a government position.

About those people who are just not happy with his new post. Anupam said “Oh, them,” he said there are always people around whenever he has been given a government position. He said that when he was made the Chairperson of the Central Board of the Film Certification there are people who said that now there will be a clash of interest with his relationship, with the producer and the film fraternity. When he took acting very seriously there are people who said that now there will be a clash of interest with his movie assignments. So, if those people do not come forward he actually got worried and he missed them but he is just not worried about any of the clash of interest. He says that he prioritizes his various commitments in a very systematic way.

When asked that what would he like to suggest to the students of the FTII, Anupam says that for that, everyone has to wait and watch. Let him first catch his breath and then he will interesting with them and then he would like to do his job and then he says that you can judge me. On Thursday, an association of the FTII wrote an open letter to the actor Anupam, drawing his attention towards the nine important issues related to the institute. Does Anupam Kher has given a thought on that what would he like to do at the FTII, a premier institute for the filmmaking enthusiasts.

Anupam says that it is very early for him to start planning things. He will first appraise the situation and then he will meet all his team members there at the institution. From what he has gathered that FTII is running smoothly so would not be ruffling the status of the quo just to make the world know about his presence. But he assures that yes he will be making some changes.

Anupam never scared of falling if he was so he would not play the role of a 65-year-old man in the Mahesh Bhatt’s movie Saaraansh when he was just 25 years old. Today when he is actually approaching in 65 and now he thinks that there is no responsibility and he is not up to anything. He enjoys every challenges equally.

He has already started working for the movie ‘Ranchi Diaries’ in Jharkhand when he suggested to the local administration why would not he have a proper film industry in the state. He says that there were movies like ‘MS Dhoni’, ‘Begum Jaan’ and much more he says that when he landed back in Mumbai, he was appointed him as a Chairperson of the Jharkhand Film Development Corporation.

He took the challenge and he said that every challenge is fine with him. He was being asked that why did he do the small role in the recently released movie ‘Judwaa 2’. He said that he did that role just for the fun and he wanted to be in both the parts of the franchise and he has a long association with the director David Dhawan. He did not forget his friends or abandon associations as per his convenience or inconvenience he thinks that’s one can be the reason that he would have given such a big responsibility.
