Anurag Basu‘s musical adventure romantic comedy film ‘Jagga Jasoos’, which was written and directed by Anurag Basu, and produced by Basu and Ranbir Kapoor. Well, we all know that Jagga Jasoos didn’t do well at the box office despite a positive word of mouth around it.
Recently, Rishi Kapoor (father of Ranbir Kapoor) slammed the director for being irresponsible. Rishi Kapoor said, “Till Wednesday, Anurag Basu was still mixing the film. Can you imagine that? Pritam (composer) probably delivered the music only a week before. What can you say? You don’t take an opinion from anybody. Today’s filmmakers are doing this with everybody. They don’t show their films before release to take opinions and treat it as though they’re making a nuclear bomb. I didn’t hate or love the film.”
Director Anurag Basu tweeted on his Twitter account just days after actor Rishi Kapoor slammed the director for being irresponsible. Finally, director Anurag Basu opened up at the box office debacle of ‘Jagga Jasoos’, Anurag said that the rejection will actually give the way for his next.
