Anurag Kashyap is quite impressed with an actor Akshay Oberoi‘s performance in ‘Gurgaon‘. Anurag says that he shines throughout the film. In the movie, Akshay will be seen playing the lead in the movie, which is a noir thriller inspired by the true story.
The movie “Gurgaon” will tell us the story of Kehri Singh, a real estate baron, who runs his business in his daughter’s name. Nikki Singh (character played by Akshay) is the son of Kehri Singh and is often sidelined by his father as good for nothing.
About the actor Akshay Oberoi, Anurag said, “I think Akshay is brilliant in the film. Shanker has pulled excellence out of him and it’s visible when to watch it. He shines throughout the film.” Anurag added, “He has definitely arrived with ‘Gurgaon’ and is someone to watch out for.”
On the work front, Akshay will also be seen in “Kaalakaandi” along with Saif Ali Khan, which is directed by Akshat Verma and produced by Cinestaan Film Company. The film is about six characters, set in one night, and encompasses the dark and bright side of life in Mumbai.
“Gurgaon” is slated to hit the screens on Friday.
