Film maker Anurag Kashyap is known for making cutting edge and unique film in the mainstream space in Bollywood.
He recently shared a throwback picture on his Instagram profile, wishing the legendary Hollywood director Martin Scorsese a happy birthday.
The picture was taken in 2013 and has Anurag with Scorsese, Marion Cotillard, German director Fatih Akin and many other.

Martin Scorsese is an American film director who has made several classic flicks like ‘Raging Bull’, ‘Taxi Driver’, ‘Goodfellas’, ‘Shutter Island’, ‘The Departed’ and various others.
In 2013, Martin had written a special letter to Anurag, appreciating his films like ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ and ‘Dev.D’ and wishing him luck for the future.
On the work front, Anurag is presenting the release of the critically acclaimed Assamese film ‘Aamis’, which will hit the theaters on 22 November.

Directed by Bhaskar Hazarika, the film was premiered at this years Tribeca Film Festival where it was nominated in five categories.
Anurag recently served as a co-producer to the sports drama flick ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ directed by Tushar Hiranandani. It proved to be a critical and box-office success.
He has also finished shooting for the Netflix horror anthology film ‘Ghost Stories’ and has Sobhita Dhulipala and Pavail Gulati in his segment.
It is a sequel to the 2018 flick ‘Lust Stories’ and has four different stories by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee.
