Actor, Aparshakti Khurana last featured in Street Dancer starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in lead. Next up for him is director Satram Ramani’s film, Helmet. The film will feature him as a lead actor for the first time in his career. Due to COVID-19, the shoot of the film was stopped midway, now though, it is set to resume, with Khurana going back to Mumbai soon.

From September 7, Khurana will start work on the film again, with necessary precautions in place. Actor, Dino Morea is the co-producer of the film.

Talking about coming back to shooting again, the actor said,

“I’m really excited to be back on the sets and start shoot once again after such a long time.

“I’ve really missed doing this and will soon be heading to Mumbai to shoot the final schedule of Helmet, which mainly includes the climax, ”

Apart from Aparshakti, the film features Abhishek Banerjee who co-starred with him in Stree and Ashish Verma, while Pranutan Bahl features as the leading lady in the film.

Along with Dino Morea, Sony Pictures Networks Productions are producing the film, which is touted as a quirky comedy.

It’ll be the first time for not only Aparshakti but the audience too, who’ll be watching him leading a film. He is renowned for playing supporting roles in many big films such as Dangal, Stree, and Pati, Patni Aur Woh.

Time has finally come for Aparshakti like his brother, Ayushmann Khurrana to establish himself as a leading man in Bollywood. During the lockdown, Aparshakti was staying at his home in Chandigarh.
