Bollywood never fails to appreciate, when it comes to hardwork and talent. Every now and then we see celebrities sharing each other’s work on social media platforms. This time the Tinsel Town has come together to praise actor Aparshakti Khurana and singer Shalmali’s new soulful number Ruka Ruka.
Shalmali turns actor for this song and plays the love interest of Aparshakti’s character. The song narrates the story of a couple who goes through a relationship crisis because of the hyper-connected world where they fail to have real conversations and express their emotions to each other. Shalmali and Sunny M.R. lend their voices to this musical piece.
Shalmali took it to her instagram and shared the video as, “After months of putting my heart and soul into my first single, I present to you #RukaRuka – a song that iterates the moment when you feel stuck. I’m grateful to have worked with many wonderful people who’ve helped me in bringing this to life. I really hope you guys love it as much as I have loved working it on :)”

After the makers dropped the song, Bollywood is all praises for Aparshakti and Shalmali. First up is actor Neha Dhupia who put up this song on social media and expressed her love for the song.
Then, Singer Jonita Gandhi came up with a lovely post which said, “That’s what I was talking bout. Congrats on such video,” and then praised Aparshakti and Shalmali individually.
Dangal Girl Sania Malhotra and musician Shekhar Ravjiani too had nice things to say about it. On one hand where Sania seemed to have indulged in the song and listen to it on repeat mode, Shekhar on the other hand said, “Loving it! God bless you beautiful people!” Check it out.
