Finally, an official announcement about the actor, director, and producer Arbaaz Khan‘s Kannada debut with ‘Where Is My Kannadaka’ has been made by Khan himself. The actor will work with yet another Kannada debutante Patralekhaa.

In a statement given to BollywoodLife, the actor has said, “The script is interesting. Also, I wanted to explore regional films. I have already done two Telugu films while this would be my first Kannada film. I am excited to be part of a good story.”

The film also stars Ganesh who also goes by the name Golden Star who is one of the most popular celebrities and highest-paid actors in Kannada cinema. ‘Where Is My Kannadaka’ will be directed by director couple Raaj and Damini and it will go on floors in April this year.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh made the announcement through his Twitter handle and the actor confirmed it by retweeting it. Taran posted a collage and captioned it, “Arbaaz Khan debuts in a #Kannada film… #WhereIsMyKannadaka stars Ganesh and Patralekhaa… Directed by husband-wife duo Raaj and Damini… Starts April 2019… Will be filmed in UK.”

A major portion of the film will be shot in London and as per reports, the filmmakers are planning to release it by the end of the year.

Raaj and Damini will be making their directorial debut in film with this one, as they have only directed television shows in Hindi and Kannada.

Kannada film ‘KGF: Chapter 1‘ starring Yash has already raised the standards of regional cinema by its success across the globe. Prashanth Neel directorial has collected ₹240 crores worldwide till date.
