Forever young Anil Kapoor was last seen in Total Dhamaal that was a commercial success and is busy shooting for Pagalpanti and his other upcoming projects. While his co-actor and nephew Arjun Kapoor was last seen in India’s Most Wanted and is getting ready for Panipat with Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon.
The duo was recently into headlines as Arjun Kapoor shared a picture with Anil Kapoor on his Instagram account, the picture teased his fans about ‘Mubarakan 2’. Mubarakan, a comedy-drama was directed by Anees Bazmee and starred Arjun Kapoor in a double role with Anil Kapoor, Athiya Shetty, and Ileana D’Cruz. It had released on July 28, 2017.
Arjun’s post stated, “Who’s on for Mubarakan 2?” He also tagged the star cast of Mubarakan in his post. While Arjun Kapoor donned a black t-shirt and blue denim, Anil Kapoor was looking Jhakaas as always in a black tee and blue denim with glares. Not only this, in July this year even the Mr. India actor had also hinted us about Mubarakan sequel ‘Mubarakan 2’ would be coming in December 2019 or maybe next year.
For the uninitiated, Mubarakan was about an eccentric man; Kartar Singh (played by Anil Kapoor) who helps his estranged twin nephews (double role played by Arjun Kapoor) to marry their love. Both orphaned and raised apart, the twins come together to serve a greater role and then what mess happens will make you laugh hysterically.
Talking about the work front, Arjun Kapoor is also shooting for Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar besides Panipat While Anil Kapoor has Malang with Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kunal Kemmu; Mumbai Saga with John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi, and also Pagalpanti with John Abraham, Ileana D’Cruz, Kriti Kharbanda, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat and others.
