‘Daddy‘ is an upcoming Indian political crime drama movie, which is co-written and directed by Ashim Ahluwalia. The movie features Arjun Rampal and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role. In the movie, Arjun will be portraying the role of a gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli. The movie features south Indian actress Aishwarya Rajesh.
About his upcoming movie ‘Daddy’, Arjun says that it is like a pressure cooker as the whole team has faced a lot of pressure while shooting up for the movie. Every single day the team has to go through a pressure while shooting for the film. Arjun says before making the film they have to take the permissions and rights from a lot of people.
The film ‘Daddy has a huge cast because the movie is set in many different periods so just to bring the authenticity in that part was a difficult task. The movie which is said to be based on the life of the Mumbai don Arun Gawli. Arjun says that this movie is the most difficult film that he has done in his entire film career. It is not easy to play the character of a person who is living so it is a tough task.
Director Ashim Ahluwalia says that it is not a typical gangster movie but it is a movie which is based on a real character. About the movie, he said, “I’m really happy and proud of this film. I hope everybody loves it because it’s a different film. It is not a typical gangster movie. It’s a real film of real character. From the initial response which I received, I am really happy with it as it has been so good right from the trailer release.”
Actor Arjun Rampal has also co-written the movie about his movie ‘Daddy’ he says that he is very much confident that the audience will like the movie.
