Six years back, Arjun Kapoor lost his mother Mona Kapoor to a tragic cancer case. She was producer Boney Kapoor’s first wife, and they together had two children – Arjun and Anshula.
Also it was six years back, that Arjun’s debut film ‘Ishaqzaade’ waas gearing up for release, and days before it did release he had to bear the tragic loss of his mother leaving him forever.
6 years later, the wound is still raw and the scars are still visible. Arjun may have become a popular name now, but inside his heart yearns and is haunted by the truth that his mother never walked the red carpet with him, or saw him rising to success. Arjun Kapoor is currently shooting for his next film with Parineeti Chopra. The actor has been having a rough time for the past few months, after the death of his step-mom, Sri Devi, Boney Kapoor’s second wife. He has been standing steadfast like pillar with his father and two step-sister Janhvi and Khushi. Janhvi co-incidentally is also gearing up for her debut, in July this year.
